The wealth gap between African-American communities and other groups remains significant. M-USA Capital Investments aims to bridge this gap by focusing on impact investments that promote economic growth and stability.
According to the Federal Reserve, the median wealth of black families in 2019 was $24,100 compared to $188,200 for white families. Our goal is to change this narrative through targeted investments.

Our Purpose
Founded in 2020, M-USA Capital was created to generate income that supports the charitable activities of the United Black Fund of Cleveland. We identify high-return investment opportunities across industries and geographies to deliver strong dividends.
These funds empower the United Black Fund to transform grassroots organizations into sustainable, growth-oriented resources for the community, raising their standards and enabling them to create a lasting, meaningful impact on people’s lives.

Our Approach to Impactful Investments
- We seek to make prudent investments in amounts up to $100,000.00 on a per investment basis.
- Our investment cycle begins in February and closes end of November.
- We welcome introductions to founders and heads of companies during the Q1 and Q2 and seek to deploy our annual investable capital prior to Q4, with limited exceptions.
